Geauga County LOSS Team
The Geauga County Local Outreach Support to Survivors (LOSS) Team was developed due to a high demand in outreach services for community members who had experienced traumatic events such as the death of a loved one. The Geauga County LOSS Team is comprised of a large number of volunteers - many of whom are survivors. The LOSS Team exists to be an installation of hope to the bereaved, empowering them so they can thrive. LOSS provides resources, support, and understanding immediately after a loss and for the months and years that follow.
Postvention services may consist of 1st Responder LOSS Teams, Support Groups, as well as one on one professional and peer support.
